Women engaging other women with the love of Christ for the purpose of helping each other take steps toward Him.

Stay tuned for the next Sisterhood Connect event! - Sisterhood Connect is a night to come together as women of all ages for worship, connecting, and finding out more about the vision for the women of The Journey! Bring a friend who’s new to Sisterhood and you both will be entered in a drawing! We can’t wait to see you there!

This fall we will be doing the study “Not Alone” by Jennie Allen. We were created for community. And because our Father is generous, he’s given us one of the most essential and life-changing relationships for community: friendship. In this six-week study you will find out why we need friendship, discover biblical examples of friendship, and identify the pitfalls, challenges, and joys of friendship! Join us at the Concourse Campus on Tuesday evenings at 6:00pm and Wednesday mornings at 9:00am - Registration is $25, $35 if child-care is needed.

Starting November 5th and 6th, the mom’s groups will be starting a new study. On Tuesday mornings, Nettie Williamson and Liz McNulty will be hosting this group at the church. On Wednesday mornings, Andrea Wilson will be hosting this group in her home on the island. If you are a mom and want to connect with other moms, this is the group for you! Child-care is provided and they will be going through the study “Mom Core” by Karen Stubbs. Email Andrea at for details!

The vision for EQUIP is to empower women to recognize their gifts of leadership and influence while making the commitment to become servant leaders in their homes, their church, and their community. Participants read and study 3 books alongside a small group of women over an 8 month period, September-April. The group meets once a week and attendance is expected weekly.
