Sisterhood Connect is a “Ladies Night Out” four times a year on a third Friday night. This is a time of meeting new ladies while hearing a speaker or watching a video from previous IF Conference speakers over snacks. There is no fee and childcare will not be provided. Connect will be held at The Journey Church. Upcoming dates will be posted on the Sisterhood Facebook or www.thejourneyfl.info.
This one-on-one training class for women to help you start your new life as a Christian or train you in Christian disciplines. You’ll learn ways to read the Bible and pray, make decisions using the Bible, how to share with others about your new life as a Christian, and establish a lifetime relationship with Jesus. The two women will get together where and when based on their preference and timeframe based on need. For further details and sign up, contact Jan Wolpert at email@example.com.
BE ONE, MAKE ONE
This program is a one-on-one meeting for a woman who is new to faith/Be One and a woman who is mature in her faith/Make One. The two women will get together where and when based on their preference every couple of weeks. This program is designed to meet and make new friends, as well as discussing your faith in God. For further details or sign up, contact Nicole Cisler at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Small groups are a time to make new friends, study a current Bible or topical study book, and help you to grow in your relationship with God. Book or video studies are part of small groups curriculum. Small groups meet in a home or at The Journey Church during the week for less than two hours. Childcare is available for a fee for some of the groups. Upcoming groups will be posted on the Sisterhood Facebook or contact Lynn Bergel at email@example.com
The vision for EQUIP is to empower women to recognize their gifts of leadership and influence, while making the commitment to become servant leaders in their homes, their church, and their community. Growth in your spiritual relationship with God, awareness of the Holy Spirit’s calling, and a solid understanding of The Journey Church’s mission will be studied. Participants read and study three books alongside a small group of women over a seven-month period, September-April. The group meets once a week and attendance is expected weekly. Time commitment is three-four hours each week, which includes time spent meeting with your leaders and small group. You must be serving on a ministry team and have a recommendation from your current leader to apply.
Equip groups run September-April and sign-ups are in the summer.
Further details will be posted on Sisterhood Facebook or www.thejourneyfl.info.
